FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and ophthalmology, and can be applied in elimination of defects of inferior wall of eye-socket. Method lies in performing cut on mucobuccal fold of upper jaw, skeletisation of anterior wall of maxillary sinus, formation of bone window in the area of anterior wall of maxillary sinus, ablation of pathologically altered tissues, determination of size of bone defect of inferior wall of eye-socket, cutting out implant and its introduction into eye-socket cavity. Implant is cut out from silicone matrix in such a way that its dimensions are 1 mm larger than bone defect by the perimetre. Implant is pinned on implant-holder spike. Applied implant-holder has a handle and a working part from the rod, which is located at angle of 15° from the handle to the left or to the right in longitudinal plane of the implant-holder. Depending on the side of operation it is curved on the arch and is oriented at angle of 90° upward from the longitudinal plane of the implant-holder. The end of the working part ends with a sharp spike. A spring-loaded element is put onto the working part with possibility of movement. The implant-holder is introduced into the maxillary sinus through the bone window. The implant is brought to the bone defect, the spring-loaded element is moved on the working part of the implant-holder, moving the implant from the spike, thus introducing the implant into the eye-socket cavity, overlapping the bone defect. After that, the implant-holder is removed from the maxillary sinus cavity. Application of the claimed invention makes it possible to perform surgery with minimal trauma, to avoid cuts on the face, to improve treatment result.
EFFECT: applied instrument is convenient in application in said manipulations, reduces operation time and trauma.
