FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of carbon dioxide from offgas of electric power station running on fossil fuel. Proposed method comprises absorption process whereat offgas carbon dioxide is brought in contact with absorbent. This brings about absorbent 25 contaminated with carbon dioxide. It includes desorption process 10 running on hot steam from steam-water circuit of power station whereat absorbent 25 contaminated with carbon dioxide is recovered to obtained recovered absorbent 26. Note here that in expansion process effected after desorption 10 recovered absorbent 26 is expanded to make vaporous absorbent 27 to be fed back to desorption process 10. Contaminated absorbent 25 is divided into at least one first and one second flows 30, 40, respectively. Note that only second partial flow 40 is directed in heat exchange with expanded absorbent, while first flow 30 and one second flow 30 are directed to various stages of desorption 10. Invention relates also to device intended for implementation of above described method.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation, power savings.
