FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of carbon dioxide from offgas of electric power station running on fossil fuel. First, fossil fuel 2 is combusted to produce offgas 3 containing carbon dioxide. Then, offgas 3 containing carbon dioxide is brought in contact with absorbent 5 in absorption process 4. Note here that carbon dioxide is absorbed by absorbent 5 to form contaminated absorbent 6. Now, gaseous carbon dioxide 8 is thermally removed from contaminated absorbent 6 in desorption process 7. Note also that ion desorption 7 steam 9 is injected in contaminated absorbent 6. Mind that released heat condensation products released in steam condensation 9 are transferred to contaminated absorbent 6 and, at a time, carbon dioxide partial pressure is desorption unit is decreased.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
