FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for grinding loose material, for example, mix of cement stock, cement clinker and similar materials. Roll mill comprises grinding table. Said table can be turned about vertical axis by drive mechanism. At least one roll is fitted on the shaft to run therewith. Guide mechanism and its support keep said roll in tangential direction relative to grinding mill. Mill vibration compensator interacts with guide mechanism to secure the roll in said tangential direction irrespective of support resilience. With working conditions changed, said compensator inhibits roll displacement relative to grinding table.
EFFECT: decreased change in drive torque, hence decreased drive wear.
