SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly to car completing parts to be used with car sedan, universal or hatchback bodies. In compliance with first version, car mud flap comprises mount, protective part and sealing apron. Mount has V-like cutout to allow mounting the mud flap at curved edges of various car bodies. In compliance with second version, car mud flap comprises mount, protective part and sealing apron. Said V-like cutout is made, primarily, at the mount center with its depth under sealing apron top edge. In compliance with third version, car mud flap comprises mount, protective part and sealing apron. Protective part has vertical stiffness ribs made at the surface of protective part side facing the wheel and stiffness ribs on sides and bottom of protective part facing the wheel and mud flow. Sealing apron features height sufficient for covering locating holes along joint between mount and protective part.

EFFECT: ease of mounting, higher reliability, longer life.
