FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: method of operation of aircraft fuel feed control system for at least one fuel tank. Note here that every fuel tank incorporates fuel level gage. Note also that first method comprises calculation of fuel amount aboard the aircraft (FOB-FailedFQI) for use by fuel feed control system in case at least one fuel level gage failed. Note that fuel amount in tanks is defined as initial amount of fuel (FOBunit) minus that of used fuel. In case failure occurs before the first determination of initial amount of fuel in tanks (FOBinit), this amount of initial fuel (FOBinit) at the moment when aircraft all engine are started is determined as the sum of assigned amount of fuel for every tank related with failed fuel level gage plus the sum of fuel amount in every other fuel tank measured by every related fuel level gage. Second method comprises inputting manually assigned magnitude and setting automatically equal to zero or to fuel amount in other fuel tank related to operating fuel level gage. Third method comprises calculating aircraft center of gravity at full flight weight using assigned amount of fuel for every fuel tank related with faulty fuel level gage.

EFFECT: higher reliability of fuel transfer system and flight safety.
