SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and production of glass, which can be used for to make dishware and articles for decorative and art purposes. The mixture for producing coloured glass contains soda, quartz sand, bone ash, zircon and copper oxide, with the following ratio of components, wt %: soda - 7.0-11.0; quartz sand - 66.0-76.0; bone ash - 7.0-11.0; zircon - 7.0-11.0; copper oxide - 1.0-3.0.
EFFECT: high water resistance of articles.
