FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of thermal treatment of Fe-Ni-Co-Al-Nb ferromagnetic alloy with thermoelastic γ-α' martensite conversions comprises homogenising annealing of said monocrystals of ferromagnetic alloy including the following components in wt %: Fe - 40.2, Ni - 28.85, Co - 17.55, Al - 5.45, Nb - 7.95, in atmosphere of inert gas He at 1250 °C for 10 hours. Then, heating and holding are performed at 1280°C for 1 hour with further tempering in water and ageing in He atmosphere 700°C for 0.5-7 hours with subsequent cooling in water. Monocrystals feature super elasticity in a wide temperature range.
EFFECT: better functional properties of monocrystals.
