FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to treatment of Fe-Ni-Co-Al-Ti-Nb alloy monocrystals, and can be used in machine building, aviation, space industry, mechanotronics and microsystem engineering for creation of actuators, sensors, actuators damping elements. Method for heat treatment of monocrystals of Fe-Ni-Co-Al-Ti-Nb alloy includes homogenization annealing of single crystals of alloy, containing, wt%: Fe – 43.79; Ni – 29.67; Co – 17.8; Al – 5.56; Ti – 1.11; Nb – 2.07, in atmosphere of inert gas He at temperature of 1,285 °C for 20 hours, heating and holding at temperature of 1,300 °C for 1 hour with subsequent hardening into room temperature water and aging in two stages. At the first stage aging is carried out in a free state at temperature of 700 °C in atmosphere of inert gas He for 5 hours with subsequent cooling into water, at second heating is carried out to 200 °C in free state without load, then at 200 °C is subjected to tensile load of 120 MPa, heating to 600 °C and held at this temperature for up to 2 hours in a vacuum, followed by cooling to 200 °C, removing the load and cooling to room temperature, wherein the heating / cooling rate is 10–20 °C/min.
EFFECT: monocrystals provide double shape memory effect while maintaining high superplasticity.
