METHOD FOR ASSESSING ADVISABILITY OF IMMUNOASSAY IN PATIENTS SUFFERING CHRONIC INFECTIOUS-INFLAMMATORY DISEASES OF VARIOUS LOCALISATIONS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01N33/49 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: complete blood count aims at evaluating leukocytic indices, including a neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and a granulocyte/lymphocyte ratio (GLR). That is followed by the bacteriological examination consisting in microscopic microorganism detection in a blood leukocyte layer, and if detecting a microbial association comprising gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria and yeast fungi, or observing an increase of GLR in a combination with a decrease of NLR in comparison with the references, and if the microscopic detection shows any type of microorganisms in the blood leukocyte layer, the immunoassay is considered to be advisable in the patients suffering chronic infectious-inflammatory diseases of various localisations.

EFFECT: using the declared method enables avoiding the over-prescribing of the expensive immune status assessment in these patients; it simplifies and reduces the time of the examination aiming at prescribing a drug therapy.
