FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming, namely the cultivation of sterlet in installations with a closed cycle of water supply, and can be used in conditions of a year-round cultivation of marketable sterlet. Four groups of bred starlet of the same age generation are formed. Stocking of two groups of pools is performed followed by the replacement of grown fish by planting material of the same or next generation with a density of stocking of 200-250 heads/m3. In the first group of pools the grown marketable sterlet of the first group is replaced by the third group of planting material of the same generation, after growing which the pools are stocked of planting material of the first group of the next generation, etc. In the second group of the pools the grown marketable sterlet of the second group is replaced by planting material of the fourth group of evenaged generation, after growing which the pools are stocked with planting material of the second group of the next generation, etc. The interval between planting of adjacent groups is three months, and the period of growth of each group in the pool is six months. The following qualitative indicators of process water in the pools are maintained: the water temperature is 18-25°C, pH 6.5-7.5, oxygen saturation 100-150%, ammonium content up to 0.5 mg/L, nitrites up to 0.2 mg/L, nitrates up to 100 mg/L. Marketing of marketable sterlet in each group of fish of marketable weight of about 500 g is started from the beginning of the fourth month of growth, and is carried out for three months.

EFFECT: reduction of timing of growth of marketable sterlet is provided, as well as the possibility of monthly sales of marketable fish.
