FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medical equipment, used in traumatology. Device has composite separable case. The latter consists of protective cap of cup-like shape and two hollow elements - internal and external, made with possibility of introduction and removal of internal element from external one. Bottom of protective cap represents impact site. Internal and external elements of case have upper parts of cylindrical shape with projecting lower working parts in form of trays. Handles are located on external surface of lateral walls of upper parts of elements. In the middle zone of lateral wall of upper part of external element made is encircling it projection of rest site type. Oriented along case longitudinal projections of stiffening rib type are located on external surfaces of lateral walls of lower working part and located from the side of the latter section of upper part of external element below rest site. Case has lock element, which consists of projection and corresponding to it slot. Projection of lock element is located on external surface of lateral wall of upper part of internal element. Corresponding slot of lock element is made descending in lateral wall of upper part of external element above rest site. When lock element is locked rotation of internal element relative to external one takes place and longitudinal canal from two lateral walls of lower working parts of internal and external case elements is formed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce trauma of process of intramedullary rod introduction with increase of accuracy of introduction of the latter.
