FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the field of environmental protection, in particular to devices for localisation and extinguishing of ground forest and steppe fires. The plated cord charge contains explosive cartridges in paper casings, which are fixed on the outer surface by the power nonflammable fibers. Above the nonflammable fibers the braid of charge is superimposed. Along the entire length of the said braid the cut with the width Δ is made, which is selected from a range of (0.3-0.5)r, where r is the radius of the charge. The flexible nonflammable casing is superimposed on the braid. The strength of the charge construction is maintained due to superimposing of additional flexible nonflammable casing on its braid. In blasting the shock wave through the cut moves towards the combustion front and effects on the flame torch, and the shock wave reflected from the surface additionally intensifies the effect of extinguishing.

EFFECT: development of the devices for localisation and extinguishing of ground forest and steppe fires.
