FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates fine grinding, particularly, to mills with grinding balls exploiting centrifugal forces. Proposed device comprises annular grinding chambers filled with grinding balls and formed by concentric annular recesses. Said recesses are made at opposite surfaces of discs. Said discs are aligned inside the housing with clearance to form circular slotted channels to communicate grinding chambers and discharge slots at periphery. First disc has feed opening at its center. Second disc, preferably, lower one, rotates relative to their common axis. Grinding chambers feature radially elongated profile with respect to rotational axis. Conventional circle may be inscribed between profile sections located on side of chamber outlet, circle radius being equal to that of grinding ball. Angle formed between the beams drawn from the conventional circle center via the points of its contact with profile sections varies from 50° to 160°.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher grinding efficiency.
