FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method to control gas temperature in a system of fuel supply of gas turbine locomotives consisting in the fact that cryogenic liquid fuel from a cryogenic reservoir is heated and evaporated in a heat exchanger-gasifier, heated by heat of spent gases of a gas turbine engine (GTE), heated gas is supplied into a mixer, which is connected by a cryogenic pipeline also with a reservoir of cryogenic liquid fuel via a controller of gas temperature, besides, whenever the set temperature of heated gas is exceeded by a reading of an electric thermometer, cryogenic liquid fuel is supplied into a mixer, the heated gas is mixed in the mixer with the cryogenic liquid fuel, the cryogenic liquid fuel is evaporated, and heated gas temperature is reduced; when heated gas temperature is below the established temperature, the temperature of heated gas is increased by the reading of the electric thermometer by automatic switching of the electric gas heater.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for controlled variation of gas temperature in a system of fuel supply as GTE of the gas turbine locomotive is started for limitation of thermal intensity of dosing and controlling gas equipment, and also to eliminate the possibility of cryogenic liquid fuel ingress into a gas tract of GTE.
