FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: coating is made in form of three layers, the first being an absorber and the last two being three-dimensional arrays of resonance metallic flat omega particles in dielectric materials in mutually orthogonal planes matching the direction of incidence of waves. The method of forming a conformal coating on objects involves depositing three layers: the first layer of absorber directly on the protected object, the second and third layers of dielectric materials with arrays with mutually perpendicular orientations of resonance elements.
EFFECT: reduced coefficient of reflection of electromagnetic waves from the coating in a wide frequency band.
