FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for decrease of radar visibility of protected objects to radiolocation means of centimeter and decimeter ranges of electromagnetic waves. Given absorber presents multilayer interference coat including several sublayers of variable thickness between which two- dimensional lattices of resonance elements are located. Lattices are moved away from substrate to distance equal to , where λn - is central length of wave absorbed subrange; ε - is dielectric permittivity of dielectric and from next lattice to distance equal to difference of their distance from substrate. Resonance elements are manufactured in the form of dipoles of half-wave length and closed conductors ( rings, ellipses ) equal to central length of wave of absorbed frequency subrange from metal or in the form of patterns made by current-conducting paint, paste or adhesive. Foam plastic is predominantly used in the capacity of dielectric. Process of manufacture of given absorber includes formation of phase-shifting layers on metal substrate by cementing preforms of variable thickness and formation of two-dimensional lattices of resonance elements on their outer surfaces. Layers of dielectric of variable thickness can be manufactured by methods of spraying or painting. Absorber ensures absorption of wider range of frequencies with smaller mass and size characteristics and technology of its manufacture is simplified.
