FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: chopping cutter (1) for harvested material containing the cutting tool (2) made with the ability of actuation to rotation, and a shear knife (3) adjustable relative to it, two opposite ends of which are each connected to the respective adjusting device (4, 5), so that the position of the lumen of the shear knife (3) with respect to the cutting tool (2) is variable. Changing the position of the lumen of the shear knife (3) provides a device (6) of operation by adjusting devices (4, 5). The device (6) alternatively activates the adjusting devices (4, 5) to perform by each of them of operational stage. Within this operational stage the corresponding activated adjusting device (4, 5) produces a replacement of end of the shear knife (3) relating to it first to the first adjusting stage to the cutting tool (2), and then to the second adjusting stage of the cutting tool, at that the second adjusting stage is less than the first adjusting stage.

EFFECT: invention provides an accurate approximation of the shear knife to the cutting tool and prevents damage of the cutter tool or the shear knife.
