FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture and may be used domestically for work, study, rest as well as for health recovery and rectification of posture disorders and is aimed at increasing comfort of the user remaining in a seated position for a long time. The orthopaedic chair contains the base seat, an ankle support positioned under the basic seat and positioned so that to enable adjustment in terms of height, tilt and distance relative to the basic seat. The seat is composite, consisting of two parts: the main stationary part and the auxiliary one. The auxiliary part represents the front part of the ankle support during its fixation in the upper position. The ankle support is "П"-shaped, fixed on movable guides that, on the one hand, are pivotally attached to posts secured to the seat, and on the other hand - move along the adjustment bracket so that to enable fixation.
EFFECT: improvement of design.
