FIELD: furniture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture and can be used both in everyday life for work, training, rest, and for rehabilitation and correction of postural disorders, and is aimed at prevention of negative consequences of prolonged presence of user in sitting position. Orthopaedic support device for ankles for installation on the lower side of the seat of the work chair consists of C-shaped guides with rows of mounting holes along their length, having possibility of installation between platform and office chair seat support rod with holes corresponding to mounting holes on C-shaped guides, spacers in form of threaded bushings with screws for installation in mounting holes of C-shaped guides, two rollers for ankle support, having the possibility of longitudinal attachment at two ends of the support rod. Support rod can be screwed in the holes of a pair of C-shaped guides by means of spacers with screws and rearranged.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of its installation on the majority of furniture for sitting, and adjustment of position both vertically and horizontally, individually for each person.
