FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely oncology, and concerns treating colorectal liver metastases. That is ensured by conducting the ultrasound-controlled radio-frequency thermal ablation of the liver metastases that is followed by administering a chemopreparation adsorbed on hepaspheres through an infusion pump within an electrosurgical device covering the thermally destructed metastasis.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the length of treatment and reducing the rate of tumour recurrences alongside with a lower toxicity of the overall chemotherapeutic body exposure.
