FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to disinfection and sterilisation of teat cups. An apparatus for bactericidal treatment of teat cups represents a closed metal frame (1) with four holes in a cover (2) with their diametric sizes matched with a flow section adequate to introduce the teat cup (3) into the apparatus which also comprises compression petals (5) made of a flexible material overlapping cracks in the upper part of the teat cup; there are also provided UV sources for the treatment of an internal cavity of the teat cup (7) placed inside the teat cup when introduced into the apparatus, and UV sources for the treatment of an external cavity of the teat cup (8) in the middle and along the perimeter of the internal cavity of the frame in between the cups so that the axes of the UV sources are shifted from the axes of the cup by 45°. There are concentrators in the form of edge-coupled parabolic-cylinder reflectors behind the UV sources.

EFFECT: invention provides safe sterilisation of the internal and external surfaces of the teat cups simultaneously.
