DOLGOPOLOV'S ULTRASOUND DISPERSANT Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC B01F11/02

Abstract RU 2497580 C1

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dispersion of fluids and may be used for making fine fluids, for example, fuel-air mixes, homogeneous and fine emulsions and suspensions. Proposed device comprises casing 1 with vortex chamber 2 shaped to truncated cone. Chamber 2 has tangential inlet 3 for active dispersive gas component (ADC-g). Pipe 4 feeding passive dispersed fluid component (PFC-f) is arranged along the chamber axis 2 and rigidly secured at base 5 of casing 1. Free end 6 of pipe 4 is located outside said chamber 2. Acoustic ultrasound radiator 7 (AUR) is arranged at free end 6 of pipe 4. ADC-g reflector 8 is arranged above casing 1 and shaped to equidistant saw-like grooves 9 of top part of section 1. Outlet 10 of casing 1 accommodates guide tube 11 for ADC-g discharge. Vortex chamber 2 has ring-like outlet 12 formed by inner surface of said guide tube 11 and outer surface of pipe 4 for PFC-f feed. ADC 7 is composed of nozzle with conical and cylindrical parts 13, 14, respectively, and central through hole 15. ADC cylindrical part 14 has at least one through channel 16 arranged in ADC circle. ADC conical part 13 has saw-like circular groove 17. PFC-f flow rate regulator composed of taper end of thread 19 of screw 18 is arranged above ADC central hole 15. Volume zone of ultrasound dispersion of components (03-US-DC) is formed by excitation of stable ultrasound oscillations ADC-g between ADC 7 and ADC reflector 7. Pipe 4 in the zone of circular outlet 12 has at least one additional attachment 20 to ADC-g guide tube 11 and to the wall of casing 1. Additional attachment 20 may be composed of four radial cross-like cylindrical inserts 21 with grooves secured in casing holes 22 by screws 23.

EFFECT: efficient dispersion, stable operation.
