SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to organic chemistry, namely to new imidazolidin-2,4-dione derivatives of general formula in the form of racemates, enantiomers or any combinations thereof, or to pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R¹ and R² independently represent alkyls, halogenalkyls, cyano-, nitro-, amino-, -NR⁸-CO-R⁵, -NR⁸-SO₂-R⁵, -NR⁸-CO-(CH₂)_n-NR⁶R⁷, -NR⁸-SO₂-(CH₂)_n-NR⁶R⁷ or -CO-NH₂; n is specified in 0 and 1; R⁵ represents alkyl; R⁶ and R⁷ independently represent hydrogen atoms, alkyls and alkyloxycarbonyls; R⁸ represents a hydrogen atom or alkyl; R³ represents alkyl, or two radicals R³ together with a carbon atom whereto attached form cycloalkyl containing 4 members; R⁴ represents halogenalkyl containing 4 to 6 carbon atoms; Y represents a linear or branched alkylene containing 5 to 11 carbon atoms; alkylene may be substituted or may contain two additional members -O-; X represents -S-, -SO, -SO₂-, -S=N(R)- or -S(O)=N(R⁹)-; R⁹ represents a hydrogen atom or halogenalkylcarbonyl. Also, the invention refers to the specific compounds of formula (I), to a method for preparing the compound of formula (I) if X = S, to intermediate compounds, to a pharmaceutical composition of the compound of formula (I) and using the compound of formula (I).

EFFECT: there are prepared new imidazolidin-2,4-dione derivatives possessing antiproliferative activity.
