FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coloured polyvinyl chloride-based compositions which are suitable for making articles by extrusion. Disclosed is production of an extrusion coloured polyvinyl chloride composition involving preliminary mixing in a separate container an organic pigment with a liquid organosilicon oligomer to obtain a modified organic pigment. A first mixer is preheated to 110-125°C. As the mixing device operates in the mixer, a polyvinyl chloride suspension is fed into the mixer, as well as the following target additives, successively: filler, tribasic lead sulphate (heat stabiliser) and then the rest of the target additives. The modified organic pigment is fed last. The mixture is mixed until temperature of 115-125°C is achieved. The obtained mixture is reloaded into a water-cooled second mixer and mixing is continued until temperature of the mixture reaches 40-45°C.

EFFECT: high colour fastness of the composition which is suitable for making shaped and linear articles for building purposes.
