FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: movable device for measuring physical parameters of nuclear materials contained in a shielded cell (2), which can be brought into contact with said shielded cell (2) and can be retracted therefrom. Said device is intended to carry out the measurement in a position in which it is in contact with the shielded cell (2), the device having a carriage (8), a base (44) placed on the carriage (8). A shielded container (4) contains a transfer container (24) intended to store the nuclear material to be measured, the shielded container (4) having an opening aligned with an opening (14) in one wall of the shielded cell (2). The base (44) is made of graphite and has a socket (48) accommodating a neutron emission module (50). The measuring device also has a casing (53) covering the shielded container (4) made of graphite, and a neutron measurement means (59) is fastened to the casing.
EFFECT: safer and more accurate measurement.
