SUBSTANCE: method of selecting signals involves generating spatially coherent monochromatic light flux, first phase modulation of said flux with a space-time acoustic signal corresponding to an input electrical signal, spatial filtration of the light flux, second phase modulation of the light flux with a space-time acoustic signal corresponding to an input electrical signal and having a wavelength twice as long as the wavelength during first phase modulation, integrating the light flux, secondary spatial filtration and space-discrete detection.

EFFECT: enabling signal selection regardless of the time of arrival of the signal.
