FIELD: fire prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for 3D aerosol fire extinguishing. The fire-extinguishing aerosol generator comprises a central candle, an igniter, a cooling unit coaxially mounted in the housing. On the lateral surface of the housing the outlet openings are distributed. The central candle from the functional pyrotechnic composition is connected to an igniter. The igniter is mounted in the lid. The mesh shell retains the cooling unit with the bulk heat-capacious material. The shell is placed with assured gap in relation to the candle, forming the combustion chamber. The outlet openings are distributed in the sector opposite the mounting bracket. The bracket is mounted on diametrical trunnions. Between the igniter and the end of candle a prechamber is formed which communicates with the annular gap.
EFFECT: technical solution provided the increase of functional reliability of the generator easily adaptable in the protected area, which is characterised by a guaranteed ignition and stable combustion of functional candle, at that the generated aerosol is structurally directed with dense flow to the focal point of the possible ignition.
