FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire extinguishing, to devices generating gas-aerosol fire retarders formed during combustion of pyrotechnic compound and sent to protected volume in organized manner to suppress fire at the incipient stage, and which can be used both in autonomous and in automatic fire-fighting system for fixed installation and for manual fire fighting. Device for volume aerosol fire fighting contains a node for fusing of pyrotechnic stick, supported by a diametric bridge and reinforced through thermal barrier in metal body of glass’s shape, combined with axial receiver, equipped with perforations of communication with annular channel, coaxial drum closed by a lid with outlets, which is internally covered with gypsum plaster, bounded by gas-penetrable cover. According to the invention, a membrane of osmotic action adjoins the gypsum layer of drum, providing diffusion into the reversible channel, the gas-penetrable cover of which is a coarse-meshed wire mesh, and the insulating layer adjoining the functional stick itself is made of cure during bursting expansion material, foamed concrete, the one-way diffusion membrane being made of geotextile or geofabric.

EFFECT: proposed technical solution is aimed at increasing the fabricability of the generator and the efficiency of its main operation for the purpose with simplification of the construction.
