FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ion-exchange treatment of effluents and may be used in electrolytic and chemical plants and water treatment systems. Proposed filter is composed of cylindrical case 1 with perforated top and bottom plates 7, 11, respectively. Rotor 2 with revolving double spiral perforated screw 3 is arranged inside said case 1. Ion-exchange bed 13 is placed in netted bags (separately for anion and cation exchangers) to make endless helical band. Every netted bag extends in screw helical space and is equipped with the system of moving rollers and drive composed of drive roller paired with squeeze roller. Every bag 14 has have the recovery bath with acid solution of cation exchanger and alkaline solution of anion exchanger and spreading diffuser arranged ahead of rotor inlet. Hence, simultaneous cleaning of contaminated fluid of anion and cation exchangers is performed in one apparatus in continuous mode.
