FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grain grinding for production of flout from soft wheat, hard wheat, corn and buckwheat. Proposed method comprises grinding the grain in roll mill with product bed and specific grinding force allowing grain heating to temperature some 30°C higher than that of the grain before grinding. Grinding is performed at grinding force smaller than 3 N/mm2. Ground grain is conveyed to separation stage to separate fine and coarse products. Grain with density smaller than 2 g/cm3 is separated in fine and coarse products. Then, at least portion of coarse product is fed back in grinding unit loading opening. Fine product is discharged from separation stage.
EFFECT: higher quality of flour.
