SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of flour and/or grit. Product is fed from a lot of loose material (6) into inlet hole (15) of the roll mill with grinding bed (9). Mill comprises two rolls (10, 11). To adjust gap (d) of the grinding slot at least one of the rolls is located in direction (s) perpendicular to rotation of one of them with the possibility of displacement. Damping device controls a deviation in direction (s) of the roll. With no adjustment of the slot deviations of the rolls relative to each other are impossible. Lot of a different size material contains a product, grit (3), particles (4) of husks or their mixture. For adjustment of a constant slot or the damping device the first volume of material with fine milled product (5) forms in the slot a pressed material. Separate particles of the second volume of material with coarse product (7) are in contact with the rolls. Milled product (17) is removed through outlet hole (16). At least one of the rolls is shaped with a concave parallel relative to the longitudinal axis on a separate section. Concave is self-cleaned during rotation of the roll. Segment of the shaped surface is attached to the roll body with a fastener with the possibility of removal.

EFFECT: reliable production of flour is provided.
