SUBSTANCE: patients' blood serum is examined for the pre-therapeutic mean molecule spectrum. If a mean molecule fraction described as an optical absorption E at wave length 230 nm is below 0.118 standard units, and a nuclear-peptide index described as a relation of the optical absorption E at wave length 230 nm to the optical absorption E at wave length 254 nm is below 0.8, the severe clinical course of epilepsy is predicted.
EFFECT: using the declared method enables the more accurate prediction of the clinical course of epilepsy.
