SUBSTANCE: electronic device has a wireless data transmission circuit, having a tunable antenna system connected to a radio-frequency transceiver. The tunable antenna system can have one or more tunable electrical components which are controlled by a data storage and processing circuit in the electronic device. The tunable electrical components can have switches and components which can be tuned between multiple different states. The tunable electrical components can be connected between components of the antenna system, such as transmission line elements, matching circuit elements, antenna elements and antenna feeders. By tuning the tunable electrical components, the data storage and processing circuit can tune the tunable antenna system and provide coverage of the used radio communication frequency bands with the tunable antenna system.
EFFECT: high accuracy of tuning in used radio communication frequency bands.
