FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises setting cutter spindle thermal displacements in machining, introduction of corrections to spindle motions in controlled system axes and determination of the type and machine spindle thermal displacement parameters for every rpm of said spindle and in idling to calculate magnitudes of thermal displacement depending on run time at various rpm and on idle time. Calculated preset tolerable magnitudes reached, magnitude of machine working tool displacement is corrected. Magnitudes and parameters of spindle displacement are set for various spatial positions of heat-loaded machine assemblies and parts at different thermal load rates and with due allowance for ambient temperature at multiple machine tests for obtaining statistical characteristics of said magnitudes and parameters in working volume of the machine. Note here that magnitudes of thermal displacements depending on run time at different rpm and idle time are calculated at required probability continuously in preset small time intervals. Note also that at reaching said calculated magnitudes at preset probabilities of tolerable magnitudes caused by required precision of machining, displacement of working tools are corrected in every controlled coordinate.
