SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal working. Correction method includes simulation of the cutting tool loading by cutting forces by means of weights suspended through a system of independent blocks on cables located in the direction of the action of the longitudinal and transverse cutting forces. In this case, the tool is moved in the direction of the action of the longitudinal cutting force, and the deviations of the position of the tool are fixed by means of the tool position indicators on the machine in the direction of the action of the longitudinal and transverse cutting forces at each given step of the tool moving, and when entering the data into the system of correction of the position of the tool, the direction of its displacement is taken into account.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the accuracy of processing and the quality of the machined surface of the part.
