FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: after steel melting, continuous cast slabs are obtained, heated to austenisation temperature and multi-pass roughing-down and finish rolling with regulated temperature of rolling end and water cooling of strips is performed. With that, after roughing-down the rolled pieces are cooled to the temperature of 720-800°C; finish rolling is performed with reductions of cross-sectional area per pass of 8-25% and temperature of rolling end, which is equal to 740-790°C; after that, strips are cooled at the rate of not less than 17°C/sec. Steel of the following composition, wt %, is molten: 0.06-0.11 C, 0.02-0.04 Si, 1.45-1.95 Mn, 0.15-0.28 Mo, 0.01-0.06 Nb, 0.01-0.09 Ti, 0.15-0.35 Ni, 0.10-0.30 Cr, 0.002-0.009 N, not more than 0.20 V, and Fe is the rest.
EFFECT: improving strength properties of strips at providing the fraction of fibrous component in specimen fracture.
