FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: strip made from steel containing the following, wt %, is heated: Si - 0.8÷7.0, Al soluble in acid - 0.01÷0.065, N - 0.004÷0.012, Mn - 0.05÷1.0, B - 0.0005÷0.0080, C - 0.085 or less, and also containing at least one element chosen from the group consisting of S and Se, comprising 0.003-0.015 wt % as total amount, Fe and inevitable impurities are the rest till the specified temperature, hot rolling, annealing, cold rolling, annealing with decarbonisation of a cold-rolled steel strip so that a decarbonised and annealed steel strip is obtained, application of the coating containing MgO as its main component, and final annealing. In addition, treatment by nitrogenation is performed. Heating temperature for rolling is set depending on content of sulphur and selenium in steel. Final temperature of finish rolling is specified in compliance with boron content.

EFFECT: providing high density of magnetic flux.
