SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology and physiotherapy, and deals with treatment of optic nerve and retina diseases. For this purpose endonasal introduction of cortexin is performed and transcranial magnetic therapy in projection of visual pathway is carried out with attachment "headband", enveloping temporal and occipital regions. For this purpose magnetic therapy is performed on the area of upper-thoracic spine in projection of trunk of sympathetic part of nervous system. In both cases magnetic therapy is performed by means of apparatus Almag-03 with stationary magnetic field, in continuous mode, with magnetic induction 10 mT, frequency 7 Hz in packages, modulated with frequency 1-5 Hz for 10-12 minutes. Course of treatment constitutes 10-12 procedures.

EFFECT: method ensures efficient treatment of optic nerve and retina diseases in patients with arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, having severe degree of retinopathy, also due to sparing transcranial magnetic therapy, reduction of vasospastic syndrome, normalisation of vegetative innervations, work of cardiorespirtory system, and positive impact on metabolic processes.
