FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for increasing efficiency of treatment of diabetic retinopathy in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Exposure to travelling pulse magnetic field (TPMF) is realised transcranially with direction of field movement from temporal lobes to occipital area. Transcranial impact is alternated every other day with impact of TPMF in eye socket with rotation of field around optical axis of eye in opposite directions. Direction of field rotation is changed after 1 minute with induction of magnetic field 20-40 mT, frequency of travelling field modulation from 1 Hz during the first session to 10 Hz during the tenth session with 1 Hz increase if frequency at each session. Frequency of travelling pulse and rotating magnetic field is 50 Hz, exposure is 5-10 minutes. Course constitutes 10 daily procedures.
EFFECT: method allows to improve microcirculation and optimise metabolic processes in eye retina.
