FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel tank equipped with sensor. Fuel tank comprises wall 7, sensor 3, 6, intake barrel 1 with flexible section, sensor base 4 with casing and sensor support 2 with two ends. Intake barrel 1 and sensor 3,6 are secured to wall 7. Support 2 is arranged so that its one end interacts with base casing 4 while opposite end interacts with intake barrel flexible section. Proposed method comprises moulding the tubular billet cut in two sheets by mould with two cavities and mould core. Said method comprises the steps that follow. Billet is placed inside mould cavity to insert said core in said billet. Note here that said rod is first fitted in intake barrel 1 and base 4. Mould is closed so that cavities get in close contact with said core. Billet is pressed against said cavities by blowing through said core and/or by applying vacuum behind said cavities. Intake barrel 1 and base 4 are secured by means of the device tightly secured to said core. Mould is opened to remove the core to make final moulding by blow forming and/or hot moulding to withdraw finished tank.
EFFECT: efficient and reliable production process.
