SUBSTANCE: electronic control unit (12) calculates the amount of heat obtained with thermal wax for assessment of thermal wax temperature based on the calculated obtained amount of heat and thermal capacity of thermal wax and controls a heater so that thermal wax temperature reaches a target value. Besides, electronic control unit (12) changes the thermal capacity value used for assessment of thermal wax temperature depending on the change of assessment of thermal wax temperature at phase transition point of thermal wax so that it is preferably to control a switching valve that operates due to thermal wax heating.

EFFECT: improving control quality of a switching valve.
