FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of output power of internal combustion engine by changing characteristics of intake valve. Disclosed is an electronic control module which selects a first cam as a drive cam of an inlet valve in a first operating range, where the target EGR value is set equal to said EGR ratio, and selects second cam as drive cam in second operating range, having shorter duration and height of valve lift than first cam. In the working areas, the first and second cams are selected only in the region of high torque and high rpm. When the second cam is selected in the region of high torque and high rpm, the state in which the actual compression ratio is high and the suction efficiency can be reduced can be ruled out. Reduction of detonation limit can therefore be suppressed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in suppression of reduction of output power of engine with turbosupercharger, when working state is shifted from working area, in which target value of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is high, into working area, in which target value of EGR-proportion is low.
