FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: optoelectrical connector consists of a receptacle and plug. In solid cylindrical receptacle body there are two insulators: one is the main insulator while the other one is docking one. In holes of the main insulator of the receptacle there are glass insulators with installed electric contacts and also ferrules for light emitting diodes with radial sealants are installed in holes of the main insulator. In holes of docking insulator of the receptacle there are sockets for electric contacts and light localiser of ferrules matching each other. Ratio for diametrical dimensions of the main and docking insulators to diametrical dimensions of ferrules is equal from 8.6 up to 9.0. In holes of solid cylindrical plug body there are glass insulators with electrical contacts and ferrules for light emitting diodes with radial sealants.

EFFECT: expanding functionality of the connector due to increase in its poles number with simultaneous simplification of design and decrease in dimensions, expanding application scope of the connector due to increase of its tightness.
