SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and represents a fishing line. The fishing line comprises a composite thread having a skin-core structure, where the composite thread comprises a core part having a core thread containing short fibre and a shell part. The shell part comprises long fibre, at that the long fibre of the shell part and the short fibre in the core part are woven with each other. The core thread and the shell thread are combined with use of polymer adhesive agent.
EFFECT: fishing line has a solid skin-core structure which prevents formation of a bare thread or a tangle, has excellent performance, adjustable specific gravity, excellent tensile strength, high resistance to atmospheric forcing and water resistance, low water content, low degree of elongation and a low probability of mashing of fibrous components in the place of cutting.
