SUBSTANCE: invention relates furniture production, it can be used in manufacture of upholstered furniture transformable products, and aims to simplify the transformation, increase in the strength of the mechanism and increase in the length of sleeping berth of the sofa bed. The transformation device comprises a hinged-lever mechanism, guides and rollers. The transformation mechanisms are placed in the rear and middle units of the sofa. The mechanism of the rear unit comprises the front and rear levers, guides of the rollers and retainers, and the beam. The front levers are fixed to the wheel bearing. The mechanism of the middle unit comprises a rear support lever, the levers to raise the middle unit: swivel upper and lower, longitudinal and long, a pushing rod-lever and a spring tie-rod. The bent end of the pushing rod is attached to the upper part of the lower lever, and the other end is provided with a roller. The long lever is attached with its one end to the upper lever, and with the other - to the pushing rod and the frame of the middle unit. The longitudinal lever is attached with its one end to the upper part of the lower swivel lever, and with the other - to the middle of the support lever. The support lever is provided with a roller. The spring tie-rod is attached with one end to the pushing rod, and with the other - to the end of the longitudinal lever and the support lever.

EFFECT: simplification of transformation is achieved, increase in the strength of the mechanism and increase in the length of the sleeping berth of the sofa bed.
