SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture production and may be used for manufacturing transformable items of the cushioned furniture, namely folding sofas, mini-sofas, angular sofas and convertible arm-chair beds. Method of furniture transforming includes right and left articulation linkage each of which includes joint with holding mechanism represented as slotted spring-loaded cover which is in hinge connection with joint shoulder and support represented as bracket fixed to the other shoulder of joint. The slot in the said cover closes the spring-loaded plate. The support lever is joined with the first lever shoulder. The roll with bead is installed in cantilever fashion on the lever. The roll slides along furniture frame guide.
EFFECT: invention ensures comfort and easiness of operation, improves reliability of operation during conversion.
