SUBSTANCE: there are developed methods for making rubber-reinforced cloths comprising discontinuous elastic yarns, and methods for making products of the same rubber-reinforced cloths. There are also developed devices for implementing the methods according to the invention. The invention also refers to rubber-reinforced cloths and products that may be made by using the methods according to the invention. The method involves the stages of feeding first and second cloths, gluing, applying an oscillating pattern with an elastic yarn onto a glued surface. The pattern goes beyond the cloth edge to form elastic yarn loops to be fixed in a loop holder comprising first and second elastic belts adjacent to the cloth edge. The cloths are overlapped and fixed together. The elastic yarn is cut in the very point wherein it passes through the cloth edge so that to separate the loops from the cloth.
EFFECT: providing easy adjustment of elastic yarn tension, more precise cutting of the elastic yarns, and waste reduction.
