FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to arthrology, physiotherapy. The method involves the exposure to pulse low-frequency electrostatic field generated by Chimavat 200 apparatus with a manual applicator. The exposure covers a knee joint, then inner thighs and outer thigh along the lymph flow. Ripple frequency is 100-140 Hz, the mode provides the relation of pulse and pause duration as 1:2 for 4 minutes at ripple frequency 85 Hz for 3 minutes, and the relation of pulse and pause duration is 1:2, at frequency 14-20 Hz for 4 minutes, in the mode of the relation of pulse and pause duration being 1:2. The exposure is contact and labile. The therapeutic course is 10-12 procedures.
EFFECT: improved patient's quality of life ensured by reducing pain syndrome and improved functional activity in the affected joints.
