FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: iron comprises a metal plate (4) of stainless steel and a soleplate of aluminium compression-molded (2) for maintaining the plate (4). The part (5) of the plate (4) is rolled up around the soleplate (2). The plate (4) is covered by sol-helium coating which thickness is in the range from 25 microns to 60 microns. During the iron manufacture the metal plate (4) is attached to the soleplate (2) by mechanical deformation, and the sol-helium coating is applied to the plate (4) prior to attachment of the plate (4) to the soleplate (2).
EFFECT: connection of the plate with the soleplate does not cause occurrence of cracks in the coating.
